Dra. Aurora Chang
Listen.
These times are so unsettling. Some days I feel strong, ready to take on all of this bullsh*t. Other days, I'm literally ugly-crying feeling desperate and unbelievably sad.
I've been thinking of ways to bring people together in a productive and compassionate way. Something simple, something to look forward to, and something that forwards our writing progress.
This is the thinking behind ANCHOR Yourself in the Storm: A Simple Summer Writing Program. Six weeks of community, writing, and being virtually held during a time where everything feels so uncertain.
I also wanted to offer a very accessible program so that as many people can join as possible without the worry of a big-ticket price.
This is the first time I am offering this, so it's a beautiful experiment. I hope you will take the leap and join as the founding cohort.
Let's co-create a space that reconnects us to our purpose and our writing.
This is for you If:
You’re tired of writing alone and want structure + accountability
You’re an academic (doctoral candidate or faculty member) seeking writing support that nourishes your whole self
You feel disconnected from your voice or project and want to get re-grounded
you have a project that needs your attention yesterday.
You crave a writing space rooted in self-trust, not shame
Projects might include:
Articles, book chapters, or dissertations
Memoirs, essays, or creative nonfiction
Writing for public platforms, community, or yourself
you literally have everything to gain and nothing to lose.
That feeling of being drawn to this program?
that’s called intuition.
follow it.
I’ve worked with Aurora a couple of times, and each of those times has been transformational in terms of my thinking. Aurora helped me clarify my thinking around my manuscript, and transform what was essentially a hodgepodge of data and ideas, into a coherent manuscript that was accepted for publication.

Working with Dra. Chang was one of the highlights of writing my book. I found her feedback to be comprehensive, thoughtful, and supportive. The process can feel really isolating and lonely - it was really great to have someone who was able to be such a positive force in my writing project. I would definitely recommend her. Don’t hesitate! Go get that work done!

Her unwavering academic AND emotional support were extremely helpful and got me through the writing process!

Working with Dra. over the past three months has been extraordinary! She has kept me focused, calm, and moving forward in a way that I have never experienced before.
